Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • 10+ years of tax experience, with significant focus on US international tax with Big 4 firm and/or large multinational
  • Experience with tax provision/accounting for income taxes under ASC 740.
  • Experience leading teams, managing complex projects across functions and regions as well as strong analytical, research, communication, and presentation skills .

Nice To Haves

  • CPA, JD, or Master's in Taxation strongly preferred.
  • Experience with tax research tools, ERP systems, and OneSource software preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of US international tax compliance, including management of all US international forms, calculations, and reporting related to cross-border operations
  • Oversee the international components of the tax provision under US GAAP and IFRS, including uncertain tax positions, deferred taxes, effective tax rate analysis, and scheduling / forecasting of certain tax attributes and certain components of tax expense
  • Manage technical areas such as GILTI, Subpart F, FDII / FDDEI, foreign tax credits, Section 861, Section 163(j), BEAT, withholding tax, transfer pricing coordination, BEPS (CbyC & Pillar II) information gathering, related earnings and profits considerations, and disregarded entity (branch) accounting
  • Monitor and interpret changes in US tax law, Treasury regulations, IRS guidance, and global tax developments, and assess their impact on the Company.
  • Work closely with finance, legal, treasury, accounting, and external advisors to support and advise business transactions, M&A activity, financing arrangements, legal entity restructuring, and strategic initiatives
  • Develop and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing technical guidance, performance coaching, and career development.
