The Director of Interconnection is responsible for leading Scout's interconnection function and advancing the company's interconnection strategy across a growing portfolio of utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects throughout the United States and Canada. This role serves as Scout's subject matter leader for generator interconnection, transmission service strategy, grid integration, and interconnection engineering activities from project origination through commercial operation. Working closely with cross-functional partners, the Director will provide strategic recommendations, technical leadership, and portfolio oversight to support informed project development and investment decisions. The Director is responsible for building and leading a high-performing team, establishing scalable processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and managing critical utility, consultant, and ISO/RTO relationships that support Scout's long-term growth objectives. This role partners extensively with Development, Origination, Engineering, Construction, Asset Management, Finance, and Executive Leadership to maximize project value, mitigate development risk, and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of interconnection activities across Scout's development portfolio.
