About The Position

This role is for a Director Inpatient Services at AAMC. The position requires a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with a BSN preferred. A minimum of two years of experience as a registered nurse, with one year in acute care and a minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a hospital setting, is necessary. Proficiency in personal computer use, including spreadsheet analysis, presentation graphics, and word processing, is required. The role demands highly developed oral, written, and organizational skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups and individuals. The candidate must be able to manage multiple priorities, make sound decisions, and demonstrate flexibility in undertaking new responsibilities. A professional demeanor to represent AAMC and the ability to work under stress and solve complex problems are essential. Multitasking abilities are also required.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum two (2) years' experience as a registered nurse.
• One (1) year experience in acute care.
• Minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience in a hospital setting.
• Proficient in the use of a personal computer including spreadsheet analysis, presentation graphics and word processing.
• Highly developed oral, written and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with individual and groups, at all levels of the organization, patients, families and external individuals, groups and agencies.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in good standing in the State of South Carolina.
