About The Position

The Information Systems Analytics and Reporting Director is a results-driven leader responsible for the implementation, optimization, and strategic direction of analytics and reporting systems that drive measurable business outcomes. This role ensures seamless integration and functionality across all clinical and financial operations, consistently prioritizing high-impact initiatives and delivering results ahead of schedule. The Director will lead initiatives to enhance quality performance, streamline operations, and improve patient experiences while exceeding compliance and regulatory standards. You will drive technology-enabled analytical transformation, manage vendor relationships, oversee system enhancements, and collaborate with key stakeholders to align IS capabilities with organizational goals. Your leadership will directly impact financial outcomes, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency. This position reports to the Chief Information Officer (CIO).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Data Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in healthcare management with specialization in Information Systems, project management, product development, and/or technology leadership.
  • Proven experience with the Epic EHR system required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization, from technical teams to executive leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Clinical and/or healthcare operations background preferred.
  • Knowledge of JCAHO standards, federal reporting requirements, and healthcare data governance is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the enterprise strategy for analytics and reporting, with a strong focus on Epic optimization, automation, and data integration.
  • Drive analytics initiatives that improve clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
  • Partner with clinical, financial, and operational leaders—including the CFO—to enhance financial reporting accuracy and streamline revenue cycle analytics.
  • Oversee data governance, reporting standards, and analytics infrastructure to ensure accuracy, integrity, and accessibility.
  • Leverage automation, AI, and predictive analytics to accelerate workflows and deliver actionable insights.
  • Educate and guide leaders and staff on Epic functionality, system enhancements, and analytics best practices.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and demonstrate ROI.
  • Lead high-performing teams that foster innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and resource planning to align technology investments with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate across departments to align analytics initiatives with enterprise-wide strategies and priorities.
