About The Position

This position is responsible for providing leadership and direction for the Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs within the school district. The Director will oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of CTE curricula, ensuring alignment with state and national standards. This role involves managing budgets, supervising staff, fostering partnerships with industry and community organizations, and promoting CTE opportunities to students and stakeholders. The Director will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and for driving innovation in CTE programming to prepare students for post-secondary education and careers.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Education, Administration, or a related field.
  • Valid Nevada Administrative/Supervisory license.
  • Five (5) years of successful teaching experience.
  • Three (3) years of successful administrative or supervisory experience in education.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Career and Technical Education principles and practices.
  • Experience in curriculum development and program management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Proficiency in using technology for administrative and instructional purposes.
  • Completion of a seven (7) year work history in the application.
