Requirements

  • Master's degree in nursing, business, or health related field required
  • 3 year's experience in hospital operations role required
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written)

Responsibilities

  • Directs, coordinates, and controls the multi-disciplinary activities for oncology.
  • Utilizes leadership expertise to support and grow the service line.
  • Oversees departmental operations and budgetary duties.
  • Oversees the creation and implementation of a long-term vision for the various departments that make up the service line.
  • Responsible for operations at the INTEGRIS Cancer Institute locations in Oklahoma City (IHCI North & IHCI South) and works in collaboration with IBBHC for IHCI Enid and IGH for IHCI Grove.
  • Ensures operations function at top levels of efficiency, effectiveness, and customer expectations.
  • Leads the team to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness, high patient engagement/customer service, patient satisfaction, ensure the locations have engaged and competent staff, is responsible for budgeting, financial reporting including variance explanations/action plans, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, collaboration/partnership with others, and continuous process improvement.
  • Establishes the strategic vision across INTEGRIS Health for Cancer Treatment and successfully leads the execution of that vision.
  • Establishes and implements the strategic, working capital, and annual operating plan for INTEGRIS Health Cancer Treatment. Ensures Cancer Treatments aligns with the overall Health System business objectives and proper fiscal management.
  • Has either direct or dotted line reporting for all Cancer Treatment Managers.
  • Develops multiple budgets and/or oversight of business and operational plans and efficiently manages cancer treatment operations throughout the system.
  • Develops, implements, updates, and continuously evaluates all departmental policies and procedures to ensure adherence to hospital, state, government, and accrediting agency standards.
  • Seeks out high impact services to positively affect patient satisfaction and HCAHPS scores.
  • Supervises and directs performance of all Cancer Treatment services and provides timely feedback to the INTEGRIS Leadership Team.
  • Evaluates and maximizes financial performance with focus on opportunities for growth, new services, program development, and financial strategic development.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory agency requirements.
  • Champions the ongoing design, redesign, and improvement of operational processes to enhance success.
  • Ensures staff are managed and developed effectively, including hiring, evaluating performance and competency, and conducting disciplinary/counseling sessions as needed.
