As the Director HRIS , you will own the strategy and execution of our HR technology ecosystem, with Workday at its core. This role is ideal for a startup-minded leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You will build and execute an HRIS roadmap, integrate Workday with other platforms, and deliver reporting that drives data-informed decisions.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 7–10 years in HR technology or HRIS roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Workday and other HR platforms (ATS, LMS).
  • Strong understanding of data management and analytics.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and drive change.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Startup Experience: High-growth or startup environment experience preferred.
  • Certifications: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PMP, or Workday certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • HRIS Roadmap & Strategy Develop and implement a multi-year HRIS roadmap aligned with business goals.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and increase efficiency through automation.
  • System Implementation Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of HR systems in collaboration with HR leadership and IT teams, including HRIS, ATS, LMS, and other platforms.
  • Workday Ownership Oversee configuration, optimization, and governance of Workday across all modules.
  • Evaluate and implement new Workday features and functionality.
  • Integration & Scalability Manage integrations with payroll, benefits, ATS, and ERP systems.
  • Ensure data integrity and security across platforms.
  • Data Management Design and maintain effective data governance processes across HR systems.
  • Ensure accuracy, security, and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Reporting & Analytics Build dashboards and advanced reporting for leadership.
  • Provide insights to support workforce planning and strategic decisions.
  • Process Improvement Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through technology.
  • Drive continuous improvement aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Vendor Management Manage relationships with HR technology vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure service level agreements are met.
  • Team Leadership Lead and mentor a team of 2–3 HRIS analysts.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
