About The Position

The Director of HR Technology & AI Transformation is responsible for leading the strategy, governance, optimization, and innovation of NOV’s Oracle HCM ecosystem and broader HR technology landscape. This role drives enterprise HR digital transformation initiatives with a focus on AI-enabled capabilities, automation, workforce intelligence, employee experience, and scalable cloud-based HR solutions. This leader partners closely with HR, IT, Finance, Cybersecurity, and business stakeholders to ensure Oracle HCM and integrated HR technologies support organizational growth, operational excellence, compliance, and data-driven workforce decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in HR technology, HRIS, or enterprise HR systems leadership.
  • 5+ years managing Oracle HCM Cloud environments and HR technology teams.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud architecture, configuration, releases, and integrations.
  • Experience leading enterprise HR digital transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of AI, automation, analytics, and cloud-based HR technologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Oracle HCM Cloud certifications.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion integrations and Oracle Analytics Cloud.
  • PMP, Agile, or Change Management certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the enterprise strategy, roadmap, and governance for Oracle HCM Cloud modules including Core HR, Talent Management, Recruiting, Learning, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, and Workforce Management.
  • Lead Oracle HCM release evaluation activities, including fit-gap analysis, regression testing, and stakeholder review.
  • Lead adoption of AI and intelligent automation within Oracle HCM and related HR platforms.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage Oracle Digital Assistant, generative AI capabilities, predictive workforce analytics, and intelligent workflows.
  • Oversee HR system integrations between Oracle HCM and enterprise platforms.
  • Assess opportunities for enhanced reporting and analytics and implement solutions based on organizational needs.
  • Streamline HR operations through workflow automation and self-service capabilities.
  • Lead and develop internal HR Technology team and external vendor support.
  • Drive enterprise change management strategies tied to HR digital transformation initiatives.
