About The Position

The Director, HR Business Partner sets the people strategy for the Go to Market Enterprise Technology portfolio, a salaried professional organization of 3,200 people across the globe. The role partners with portfolio leaders to ensure the organization, talent, and culture support business plans and high performance. Leaders own their people plans; this role builds the strategy, coaches execution, and establishes standards and resources for delivery. Reporting to the Executive HR Director, the Director runs the portfolio’s operating rhythm and holds analytical standards across the HR Business Partners they work with, including those outside their reporting line. The role serves as a full member of client leadership teams, translating business plans into workforce and organization decisions, coaching senior leaders, and protecting long-term organizational health. It leads organizational effectiveness and restructuring, talent and succession processes, employee experience and culture standards, and continuous improvement of people processes. It also develops HR Business Partners and strengthens their business, financial, and problem-solving capabilities. The position requires onsite presence at the primary location and travel to other facilities. Work is primarily seated, with occasional lifting of no more than 10 pounds. The setting has low to moderate noise associated with standard office equipment. Onsite work of up to three days per week may be required for candidates within commuting distance of a Ford hub location. Visa sponsorship is not available; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
