Netflix is recruiting for an HR leader to be a strategic partner to leaders and teams within our Film team. As a Director, HRBP at Netflix, your role is to provide guidance, coaching, and thought partnership on a range of people topics to the Chairman of Netflix Film and their leadership team. This person will contribute to and support the delivery of a cohesive talent strategy and vision for the team, develop many of the key building blocks, and continue to iterate and evolve our talent practices over time. The Director, HRBP will play a role in organization design, compensation, employee development, talent density, and inclusion. Experience supporting Film teams as an HRBP is required.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive, strategic, and well-rounded HR experience working in dynamic, collaborative environments, proven ability and interest to be hands-on.
  • 5+ years of Film industry experience and/or experience supporting film teams in a combination of studios and related environments.
  • A dynamic and thoughtful HR leader with a collaborative and influential leadership style, the ability to inspire others into action, and to think creatively about solutions.
  • Experienced in developing highly effective leaders who build strong teams, leading with empathy, and unlocking the capabilities of a global, diverse workforce.
  • Passionate about and experienced with leading through change and navigating ambiguity, while maintaining operational excellence. Comfortable working autonomously and able to demonstrate proactivity in identifying and addressing potential challenges before they become problems.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills. Adept at exploring and analyzing data to identify insights and opportunities for business impact, using data to drive business decisions and tell / present a compelling story (memos, presentations etc) that influences stakeholders.
  • Exceptional at leading implementation of strategic talent initiatives across a variety of disciplines: culture building, organizational development, talent management, and inclusion and diversity.
  • Ability to work in a complex, matrixed, global organization; experience being an HRBP for client groups in global locations.

  • A strong understanding of the production cycle and experience supporting productions and Production Teams
  • Experience guiding and coaching other HR professionals

  • A great communicator who can share context effectively and bring clarity to messages.
