Responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for the American Hospital Association (AHA) healthier aging portfolio, advancing innovative, evidence-based approaches that improve the health, well-being, and care experiences of older adults across hospitals, health systems, and communities nationwide. Serve as the organizational lead for AHA's Healthier Aging strategy and ecosystem, overseeing a diverse portfolio of externally funded initiatives, learning collaboratives, recognition programs, strategic partnerships, and implementation efforts focused on age-friendly care, dementia care, caregiver support, and workforce development. Oversee full lifecycle operations for design, execution, and scale of complex, externally funded national initiatives that advance the care of aging adults nationwide, including budget and compliance of funded projects in line with funder expectations and deliverables. Collaborate across AHA divisions and with health systems, foundations, federal agencies, industry partners, and national organizations to accelerate adoption of evidence-based practices, identify emerging opportunities, secure new funding, and position AHA as a national leader in healthier aging.
