About The Position

Moove AV is seeking a Director/Head of Fleet Vehicle Procurement & Strategic Sourcing to own the vehicle lifecycle and build the procurement engine for scaling autonomous vehicle (AV) technology globally. This role is at the intersection of Procurement, Fleet Intelligence, and Global Strategy, responsible for the end-to-end vehicle sourcing lifecycle, including negotiating directly with global OEMs to ensure the right hardware is secured at the right cost and at the right time. The position requires a strategic approach to sourcing, technical program management, deployment coordination, and operational rigor to build a scalable procurement framework.

Requirements

• 10+ years in high-level strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, ideally within the automotive or high-tech logistics space.
• Proven track record of negotiating favorable commercial terms with global OEMs.
• Ability to model complex TCO scenarios and translate them into actionable executive strategy.
• Experience thriving in fast-scaling environments with ambiguity.
• Must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-million dollar procurement strategies, including pricing structures, volume commitments, and delivery timelines.
• Act as the primary commercial representative of Moove AV, building relationships with global OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.
• Negotiate sophisticated contracts covering rebates, warranty frameworks, and risk-sharing mechanisms.
• Collaborate with Engineering to define vehicle specifications optimized for autonomous, high-utilization environments.
• Drive down Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) by balancing fleet standardization with market-specific customization.
• Synchronize production slot allocations with market launch readiness to meet deployment timelines.
• Identify and mitigate supply-side risks, such as production bottlenecks and component shortages.
• Establish KPI-driven supplier scorecards to monitor performance.
• Design and codify the "Moove Sourcing Playbook" for scalable international expansion.
