About The Position

Gridline is seeking a Director, GP Partnerships to own and scale revenue growth within the General Partner (GP) market, including private equity, private credit, venture capital, and real assets. As a senior, quota-carrying leader, you will be responsible for executing Gridline’s go-to-market motion, closing new business, and expanding existing accounts within the private markets ecosystem. This is an externally facing role for an experienced seller who understands the specific nuances of how GPs buy technology that furthers their ability to efficiently launch, run, and manage private market funds. You will have to navigate complex stakeholder groups across investment, operations, and finance teams and act as the commercial architect for this segment, establishing the pricing frameworks, sales playbooks, and strategic partnerships necessary to close high-value enterprise deals and drive multi-product adoption across our platform. This is an amazing opportunity to be the first ever dedicated GP seller, have a national footprint, and join Gridline at this inflection point, reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer (CGO).

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of B2B sales experience, with a proven track record of closing enterprise-level deals specifically within the GP/asset manager market or capital raising for private strategies.
  • Ideally a bachelor's or equivalent in a related field (finance, economics etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Drive Revenue: Own net-new and expansion revenue across the GP segment, with full accountability for pipeline health, bookings, and deals won - across the entire US territory.
  • Build Pipeline: Generate and advance a high-quality pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting, inbound opportunities, and your existing network of referrals.
  • Close Complex Deals: Personally manage deals from discovery to contract execution, engaging with multiple C-suite stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Expand Accounts: Identify opportunities for multi-product adoption, ensuring customers are leveraging the full breadth of Gridline’s platform offerings.
  • Strategize GTM: Segment the GP market (PE, VC, private credit, etc.) and tailor sales motions, messaging, and commercial frameworks to each specific audience.
  • Operationalize Growth: Maintain rigorous CRM discipline and partner closely with Marketing and Product teams to refine messaging and support demand generation.
  • Represent the Brand: Act as a face of Gridline at industry events and client meetings, simplifying complex fintech concepts into clear value propositions for GPs.
