About The Position

The Director, Global Market Access – RSV leads the development and integration of global market access, pricing, and reimbursement strategy for the RSV portfolio across launch and lifecycle. This role will serve as Global Access Lead and is accountable for shaping payer value, guiding evidence and policy strategy, and enabling successful access outcomes across regions and countries. The Director collaborates closely with global, regional, and country teams to drive strategic alignment, develop payer value resources, and influence clinical, economic, and evidence generation plans. The role leads cross‑functional workstreams and is accountable for identifying, assessing, and proactively shaping access risks, opportunities, and long‑term planning across the RSV portfolio and product life cycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years in market access, pricing/reimbursement, health economics, health policy, sales/marketing, or market research.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills; proven success leading cross‑functional teams.
  • Global strategic mindset with strong understanding of access and reimbursement

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and integration of global payer value propositions, access strategies, pricing scenarios, and negotiation strategies.
  • Input to global pricing principles and price corridor guidance, balancing value recognition, affordability, and long‑term portfolio sustainability.
  • Ensure global strategy alignment while enabling appropriate regional and local adaptation across health systems and access pathways.
  • Manage portfolio-level access performance reviews, forecasts, and risk/opportunity assessments.
  • Generate and interpret data‑driven insights on the competitive landscape, reimbursement environments, immunization and prevention policy trends, and payer decision‑making dynamics.
  • Anticipate and assess policy and system changes relevant to RSV prevention and protection, including immunization programs, adult prevention frameworks, and public funding pathways.
  • Influence global evidence strategy to ensure RSV data packages address payer, HTA, and policy stakeholder requirements.
  • Partner with HEDS, OR, Medical Affairs, and Policy to guide development of economic models, budget impact analyses, real‑world evidence plans, and value narratives.
  • Ensure alignment between access needs and evidence investment decisions.
  • Coordinate and lead cross‑functional partnerships across Marketing, OR, HECON, Medical Affairs, Policy, Finance, and other stakeholders to support value messaging, evidence planning, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Lead major global or cross‑functional workstreams related to RSV access strategy and launch preparedness.
  • Act as a key access advisor to global brand teams and governance forums.
  • Lead development of payer value decks, global access tools, playbooks, and internal training materials for global, regional, and country teams.
  • Support capability‑building across regions by providing strategic guidance, coaching, and issue escalation support on complex access challenges.
