About The Position

Benefit Cosmetics is seeking a passionate brand builder with a knack for crafting innovative global vision and go-to-market strategies. The Director – Global Consumer Marketing will architect and lead all global integrated marketing campaigns to ultimately fuel Benefit’s brand affinity, bring the brand in the heart of cultural conversations, and deliver measurable business impact. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for shaping how the brand shows up – from product launches to always-on storytelling – ensuring every touchpoint is cohesive, compelling, and rooted in culture. You will partner cross-functionally and with global stakeholders to bring bold, multichannel campaigns to life across multiple geographies across the world.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Global consumer marketing, brand management, or integrated marketing, ideally within beauty, lifestyle, or high-growth consumer brands that are highly active in social media.
  • Proven ability to brief, build, deploy, and execute global go-to-market strategies from launch to sustain of a product innovation.
  • Deep understanding of modern consumer behavior, including the role of community, conversation, and culture in brand building.
  • Demonstrated success leading global integrated 360 campaigns across social, digital, retail, experiential, PR channels.
  • Experience navigating complex, cross-functional environments and managing multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, agile, solutions-oriented mindset with bias to action.
  • Strong strategic acumen with the ability to translate vision into clear, executable plans for all cross-functional partners and markets.
  • Highly data-driven, with a passion for insights, performance marketing, and continuous optimization.
  • Exceptional leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in building and managing high-performance teams.
  • Passionate about beauty, fashion, and all things Social Media especially TikTok.

Responsibilities

  • Own the integrated global consumer marketing vision and calendar – ensuring that the Global Marketing Team designs culturally resonant global campaigns that drive brand desirability and engagement for each campaign individually, and as a total brand in the eyes of consumers.
  • Ensure all end‑to‑end go‑to‑market strategies and executions for product launches and always‑on initiatives have seamless integration across PR, Influencer, Social, Community, Partnerships, DTC, Creative, and Retail Marketing.
  • Own and optimize the consumer marketing budget, allocating resources strategically to maximize ROI and business impact.
  • Lead the Global Events team in evolving and optimizing the effectiveness of global programs to effectively drive cultural conversations and sales.
  • Drive marketing innovation across emerging platforms, technologies, and formats, keeping the brand at the forefront of culture and consumer attention.
  • Ensure brand consistency at scale, balancing global standards with local relevance across diverse markets.
  • Own the relationships across cross-functional leaders and local marketing leaders – ensuring everyone has a holistic view of the global marketing strategies and programs, and local teams deliver high-impact 360° campaigns that ladder up to the overall brand strategies.
  • Own & present overall consumer marketing strategic plans, campaign performance, and insights to senior leadership.
  • Build, lead, and inspire a high‑performing marketing team of 5-10 people, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous growth.
  • Continuously identify ways to upskill their direct team in Brand Building and in specific marketing touchpoints (Social Media, Retail, eCommerce, etc).
  • Have overall accountability for hiring, development, and engaging direct reports.
  • Act as a people developer, leading a feedback and performance culture, modeling two-way feedback, accountability, and recognition.
  • Provide ongoing transparent discussion regarding development, Rise objective review, and career aspirations.
  • Onboarding: Proactively guide team through induction, on-the-job training, and familiarization with the LVMH ecosystem, providing all necessary contacts and resources, and encouraging attendance to relevant events.
  • Keep direct report up to date with important functional, company, and LVMH news.
