About The Position

The Director, Global Commodity Programs & Advanced Sourcing is a critical leadership role responsible for shaping and executing global supply chain strategies that drive agility, cost-efficiency, innovation, and operational excellence. This leader will champion high impact transformation initiatives, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and enable sustainable growth in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain transformation within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven success in leading global initiatives and managing complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong expertise in Lean, Six Sigma (Black Belt or equivalent), digital supply chain tools (e.g., SAP S4/R3, Tableau, Power BI) or other operational excellence tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop diverse teams, coach, and mentor staff, and drive organizational change.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and program management skills.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills at all organizational levels.

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute global supply chain strategies aligned with business growth, operational scalability, and corporate objectives across all manufacturing sites.
  • Lead high-impact transformation programs to optimize end-to-end supply chain processes, including advanced sourcing and program management.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for innovation, risk mitigation, and cost optimization to achieve best-in-class performance.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks (e.g., geopolitical, material shortages) and develop robust contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence frameworks.
  • Foster a culture of experimentation, learning, and innovation within the supply chain organization.
  • Lead cross-functional projects and collaborate with internal and external partners, including senior leaders, to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Promote sustainable supply chain practices and foster an inclusive, diverse, and high-performing team culture.
