About The Position
J&J Global Services, LLC, a company of Johnson & Johnson, is recruiting for a Director, Global Commercial Lead, GU DAS, Bladder Cancer, INLEXZO +/- CET located in Raritan, NJ. This role is within the Innovative Medicine division, focusing on developing treatments and pioneering the path from lab to life while championing patients. The Director, Global Commercial Lead, Bladder Cancer, INLEXZO reports to the Sr. Director, Global Commercial Strategy, Bladder Cancer. The Director is responsible for owning and leading the commercial strategy, launch excellence, market shaping & development efforts, customer solutions, go-to-market model, and LCM efforts for INLEXZO (gemcitabine targeted releasing system). The role will contribute to optimizing the value of the global J&J Bladder Cancer portfolio by collaborating with key functions across the Global Commercial Strategy Organization (GCSO), J&J Research and Development (R&D), and J&J business regions. The colleague is a leader within the Gem-iDRS Compound Development Team (CDT).
Requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
- A minimum of 7 years of dynamic experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required.
- A minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience translating data, insights into marketing or medical strategy required
- An ability to handle multiple demands and priorities on time, lead teams, gain alignment and driving decision making is required.
- Strong executive, verbal and written communication skills are required, along with demonstrated presentation skills.
Nice To Haves
- Postgraduate qualification, PhD, MBA, or other graduate degree or equivalent experience is strongly preferred.
- 3 years demonstrated marketing, market access, analytics, or sales management/training experience implementing marketing strategy is preferred.
- Prior Oncology experience or scientific background is strongly preferred.
- Senior brand responsibility, alliance management experience, people management, product launch, experience in working with global teams and a strong understanding of pharmaceutical development is preferred.
- Significant international experience; specifically, previous working experience with complicated geographies; working knowledge of differing reimbursement markets is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead commercial strategy including, but not limited to launch excellence, market shaping & development, go-to-market model, and LCM efforts for INLEXZO +/- CET
- Coordinate with business partners to ensure strategic alignment and execution.
- Monitor post-launch performance and optimize uptake and growth strategies
- Ensure global strategy is translated effectively into regional/local execution
- Establish and track performance against plan, delivering executive updates and data‑driven recommendations to inform governance decisions
- Partner across a diverse matrix of collaborators to deliver results.
- Regions to develop, shape and implement commercial strategies, tactics, customer solutions and messaging & ensure insights are pulled through to strategy.
- Medical Affairs to ensure robust publication plans with clear narrative and enduring/differentiating data generation.
- Market Access in development of value propositions to support/bolster reimbursement and approvals globally
- R&D and Regulatory to bring commercial insight, develop/strengthen the Target Product Profile (TPP), and implement the broader vision for J&J’s leadership in bladder cancer
- Key cross-functional partners (Analytics, Finance, Competitive Intelligence, etc.) to develop differentiating value proposition and commercial forecast valuation models.
- Create a culture of patient centricity and best practice sharing.
