About The Position

This is your chance to be part of an in-house Brands team of industry experts in the domains of hospitality, brand management, innovation, food and beverage, wellness, owner relations, and more, for all of Hilton's unique brands! As Director, Global Brand Marketing Strategy for the Focused Service brands, you will build and execute annual marketing plans to differentiate and drive consideration for five leading hotel brands—ranging from large, legacy brands to emerging players in their respective categories. Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Brand Marketing Strategy, you will work across all brands and build deep expertise on the Hampton by Hilton brand. This is a critical role in the team, responsible for the entire customer-facing ecosystem of the brands. What you'll do during a typical day: As a champion of Hilton's focused service brands, you will ensure that the brand positioning, customer target audience and brand identity is accurately represented across the entire customer journey. Bring a deep understanding of the customer and marketing to the brand organization, supporting development of differentiating brand programs and signatures that align to the brand positioning. Develop annual brand marketing plans, including prioritizing messages, brand programs or priority moments, and identifying priority hotels. Author clear and compelling tactical briefs and collaborate across teams to successfully implement annual plans. Partner with the Marketing organization to input into strategic briefs where brands play a role and review and guide final brand representation in Portfolio Go-to-Market plans. Maintain always on brand channels, including setting brand social priorities and maintaining brand web presences. Lead and execute required photo and video shoots and maintain all brand guidelines and collateral. Mentor talent within the team. How you'll collaborate with others: Build relationships up and across the organization to build trust and drive influence. Serve as the customer and brand positioning expert within the brand organization to yield integrated brand strategies that bring each positioning to life. Be the brand expert in the Marketing organization, guiding how brands are represented with Portfolio strategies and leading execution of brand-specific marketing campaigns. Be a trusted partner of the brand teams, delivering regular updates, inputting into brand strategies, sharing results and representing the marketing organization. Represent the brands and marketing to external partners at conferences, owner councils, hotel leader meetings. Projects you'll take ownership of: Lead implementation of the 2026 brand marketing plans and steward the ongoing core marketing support for the brands. Participate in setting long-term brand strategies and developing new brand positioning where applicable to inform plans for 2027 and beyond. Lead relationships with partner teams to influence the delivery of integrated marketing plans. Be the day-to-day marketing contact with the brand team to share progress and align expectations.

Requirements

  • Ten (10) years of professional work experience
  • Seven (7) years in a brand marketing role or strategic marketing agency
  • Experience developing and executing brand strategies and integrated brand marketing plans
  • Experience working with agencies and partner teams to drive business results
  • Travel up to 25%
  • Onsite in McLean, VA
