This Director, Product Group Leader will lead teams of business technology resources and partner with corporate leaders to deliver the portfolios of technology investments, which include but are not limited to digital solutions for Global Spend Management and work closely with resources across business and technology for Contracting, Work Management and Knowledge Management. Powered by AI, these technology solutions will be applied to solve legal business problems and enhance legal processes - reducing risk, increasing efficiency, and improving the experience for legal professionals and business partners. While working at the intersection of business strategy, emerging capabilities and digital transformation, this role will drive the technology strategy, planning, governance and capability roadmap of multiple technologies. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s level degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of related technology and/or experience with legal organizations.
  • Advanced legal and spend management platforms and processes and contribute toward the advancement of knowledge of contracting, knowledge management, litigation and/or intake/demand management platforms and processes.
  • Demonstrable experience leading diverse global teams for program/project implementation, deployment and product management.
  • Strong decision-making, consulting and executive-level business communication and presentation skills.
  • Collaborative spirit that leads and influences teams and partners to experiment with technology and establish shared platforms and teams to drive business results.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Drive the Global Legal Spend Management technology strategies, operating models, and digital roadmaps in alignment with our Corporate Business Technology & JJT enterprise teams.
  • Enable future-state GLO business capabilities with a focus on technology disruption, speed, agility and flexibility.
  • Build, prioritize and deliver a digital pipeline in partnership with GLO to deliver measurable business impact.
  • Partner with Information Security & Risk Management (ISRM) teams to create policies and controls for the appropriate protection of enterprise assets.
  • Shape and lead global diverse and highly engaged teams, crafting an inclusive culture within the team, business partners & across JJT.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive enhanced outcomes and improved financial performance through improvements to current-state business flow and longer-term redesign of how business value is delivered.
  • Proven experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to enhance product capabilities, improve user experience, and drive business outcomes.
  • Understanding AI concepts and frameworks, including agentic AI, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into product strategies.
  • Experience integrating AI-driven features into digital products or platforms, ensuring alignment with customer needs and organizational goals.
  • Ability to collaborate with data science and engineering teams to define AI requirements, evaluate feasibility, and prioritize AI-enabled functionality.
  • Awareness of ethical considerations and responsible AI practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
  • Hands-on experience generating prompts — creating, refining, and measuring prompts to boost workflow efficiency and performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn, evaluate, and adopt new AI tools and platforms to meet evolving project needs.
