About The Position

Lead GHEOR strategy and tactics for one or more indications within the Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) portfolio with input from key stakeholders such as Clinical, Medical, Marketing, Market Access, Statistics, and Regulatory. Lead the development of an aligned strategy for GHEOR to demonstrate the value of neuroscience assets in one or more indications within Alzheimer’s Disease (AD). Integrate and align this HEOR strategy through establishing and maintaining cross-functional collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders including, but not limited to access strategy, clinical, medical affairs, and commercial. Give input into clinical trial design and endpoints aligned to value demonstration strategy. Lead clinical outcomes assessment (COA) strategy in collaboration with COA scientists. Develop and execute innovative GHEOR plans including real world evidence generation, economic modeling, and COA. Effectively lead scientifically rigorous HEOR studies and manage projects from concept through full execution, including reporting the evidence at scientific congresses, in peer reviewed publications, and field related materials. Maintain and develop strong partnerships with external key opinion leaders in clinical, health economics, and outcomes research.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a master’s degree in a related discipline is required.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in outcomes research, pharmaceutical industry-related health economics and outcomes research.
  • Experience in executing research in a matrix organization to demonstrate product value is required.
  • Strong understanding of global payer and market access challenges.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical development process.
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills and be capable of distilling the essential elements of complex issues for senior internal and external stakeholders and scientific and non-scientific audiences alike.

Nice To Haves

  • A PhD in a related discipline such as epidemiology, health economics or health services research is preferred.
  • Experience in neuroscience and COA strategy preferred.
