Requirements

  • Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 12 years experience
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive business, finance, and strategy experience with increasing responsibility
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a proactive, strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach to execution
  • Highly data‑driven with strong analytical capabilities, including the ability to build robust financial models, synthesize complex data sets, and generate actionable insights
  • Exceptional financial acumen with a deep understanding of financial statements, value drivers, and performance metrics
  • Flexibility to support key deliverables during weekends and non‑traditional business hours

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive, enterprise‑level understanding of RTX’s businesses, financial drivers, and strategic priorities in order to clearly articulate performance narratives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Serve as a strategic advisor within Investor Relations by proactively identifying emerging trends, risks, and opportunities that could influence investor perceptions or company positioning
  • Lead and support the development of materials for earnings releases, investor conferences, and other high‑visibility investor engagements, ensuring messaging is consistent, accurate, and strategically aligned
  • Lead Q&A preparation workstreams, including scenario‑based modeling, synthesis of complex issues, and alignment across Finance, Strategy, and Business Units
  • Lead financial and competitive analyses—including peer benchmarking, industry trend monitoring, and capital markets insights—to support strategic positioning and investor communications
  • Own the integrity, structure, and governance of financial d ata used across Investor Relations; serve as the primary analytical lead for forecasting, modeling, and external reporting support
  • Act as a key liaison between Investor Relations and the business units, ensuring timely, accurate, and aligned responses to investor inquiries; transform internal inputs into clear, strategic messaging
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the IR function, including implementing best practices, improving analytical rigor, and elevating communication quality
  • Play a central role in the planning and execution of major investor‑facing events, including quarterly earnings, sell‑side conferences, investor site visits, technology events, investor days and presentations to the Board of Directors
  • Build strong cross‑functional relationships within Finance, Communications, Strategy, and business units to ensure alignment on financial narratives, strategic messaging, and quarterly close processes
