About The Position

Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, with over 300 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time. We are currently looking for a Director to lead Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for our Games business. In this role, you will partner closely with the Netflix Games leadership team to oversee both short- and long-term financial planning across Game Studios, Operations, Technology, and other supporting functions. The ideal candidate is a strategic, analytical, and finance leader with deep experience in the games, media entertainment and/or tech industry. You have a proven track record of building and coaching high-performing teams, designing scalable processes, and implementing financial and reporting systems. You bring exceptional financial modeling and communication skills, thrive in ambiguity, and excel at managing complex, cross-functional workstreams. As a key thought partner to Games leadership and Strategy teams, you will help shape the financial roadmap to scale our games business across mobile and cloud/TV platforms. You possess a global mindset, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment in a highly cross-functional environment. Your intellectual curiosity, passion for continuous improvement, and ability to translate data into actionable insights will be critical to our success. Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive finance experience in a fast-paced, highly analytical environment. Prior experience in FP&A, management consulting, strategic finance n the tech, media or games spaces is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics or other relevant field that demonstrates quantitative orientation a plus. MBA and/or CPA preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build successful relationships and partners at all levels
  • Experience implementing and optimizing financial forecasting and reporting processes and systems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a track record of presenting detailed financial information and analytics to executives and senior management clearly and concisely
  • A strong attention to detail coupled with the ability to uplevel and simplify to drive clarity and inform rapid decisions
  • Extensive experience with leading, executing and communicating actionable quantitative and qualitative financial analysis to drive key business decisions
  • Very strong project management, planning, and organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver excellent work under tight timelines
  • A strong track record of growing, leading and developing teams with an inclusive and high-performing culture

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Games FP&A team.
  • Oversee annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting for the global Games P&L, proactively identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Partner with Games Leadership and Strategy teams to align financial plans with business strategy.
  • Design and implement scalable forecasting and reporting workflows, ensuring consistency and equipping the business with actionable information.
  • Work closely with FinTech and Data & Insights teams to develop automated financial systems, forecasting tools, and management reporting solutions.
  • Develop financial KPIs, metrics, and dashboards to measure and communicate the ongoing impact of the Games business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, senior leaders, and cross-functional teams to drive effective decision-making and deliver on targets.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analyses, scenario planning, and opportunity sizing to support strategic initiatives.
