About The Position

Everyday Dose is a functional coffee company focused on helping people improve their well-being and performance. As a rapidly expanding D2C brand, they are seeking a Head of FP&A to oversee forecasting, cash flow, and channel economics for their multi-channel business. This role reports to the SVP of Finance and will lead the FP&A team, serving as a financial partner to leadership in Marketing, Product, Retail, and Operations. The ideal candidate is data-driven, comfortable with ambiguity, and skilled at transforming raw data into actionable insights. This position will also be responsible for developing scalable and repeatable planning processes to support company growth. The role is fully remote, with the company headquarters located in Austin, TX.

Requirements

  • 7 to 10 years of FP&A experience.
  • Omni-channel CPG experience is strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of building scalable, repeatable planning processes.
  • Proficiency working directly with modern data warehouses and BI tools.
  • Genuine fluency in using AI tools to accelerate analysis and modeling.
  • Experience mentoring and developing team members.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable presenting to leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Metabase, Looker, Drivepoint, or similar FP&A/BI platforms.
  • Comfortable writing code or scripts beyond SQL to expedite analysis.
  • Exposure to transaction processes such as M&A, PE-backed diligence, or Quality of Earnings (QoE).

Responsibilities

  • DTC financial modeling, including cohort analysis, CAC/LTV, and retention-driven revenue forecasting.
  • Retail P&L management, consumption planning, and trade forecasting, including performance and promotional analysis.
  • Channel profitability analysis by SKU, channel, and account to inform pricing, trade, and investment strategies.
  • Cash flow and liquidity forecasting, managing the weekly and monthly cash model.
  • Conducting cross-functional Budget vs. Actual (BVA) and forecast reviews with Marketing, Retail, and Ops leads, identifying key drivers and next steps.
  • Modeling financial implications for new products and channel investments, partnering with cross-functional teams.
  • Developing and implementing scalable, repeatable processes for planning cycles.
  • Contributing to Board and investor reporting.
  • Mentoring and developing the FP&A team's skills and capabilities.
