This role is responsible for coordinating and collaborating with the Keiser University Office of the Athletic Director and campus Presidents to standardize and coordinate all facets of eSports teams. This includes advising on coach recruitment, facility visioning, interdepartmental communication, and campus engagement initiatives. The Director will also work with campus coaches to standardize team operations, including training, recruitment, equipment purchasing, facility build-out, internal marketing, scholarship implementation, partnership and sponsorship vetting, and athlete scheduling. Additionally, the role involves ensuring academic accountability, training coaches and athletes on various software and videography practices, developing policies for online engagement and professionalism, creating an eSports Summer Camp, establishing a university eSports website, and assisting with social media strategies and community stakeholder relationships. The Director will also manage eSports scholarship eligibility, plan and execute tournaments, lead online marketing, coordinate team activities, resolve conflicts, and facilitate communication between eSports coaches across the Keiser University system. Travel to other campuses is required to ensure facility maintenance and quality standards.
