About The Position

This role involves guiding a team in the expansion of Fidelity's proprietary Fixed Income Trading platform, Fidelity Bond Beacon, which serves thousands of financial advisors. As the product owner, you will be responsible for the team's mission and strategy, collaborating with trading desks, compliance, clients, and leadership to prioritize the product feature backlog. The goal is to deliver best-in-class execution and user-friendly workflows that support advisors, traders, and brokers. You will also enable the team to innovate and experiment while managing associated risks and rewards.

Requirements

Experience with electronic trading and fixed income investment markets and workflows (treasuries, agencies, mortgages, CDs, municipal bonds, corporate bonds and/or structured notes).
Passion for developing class leading user experiences that make the complex simple.
Strong aptitude for quantitative finance, statistics, probabilistic risk and associated concepts.
Highly collaborative and effective communicator, capable of making and defending decisions even under conditions of uncertainty.
Software product leadership and program management skills.
Intellectual curiosity and experience fostering a culture continuous learning, mentoring and coaching.
A track record of contributing to high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

Guide a team in the expansion of the Fixed Income Trading platform, Fidelity Bond Beacon.
Act as the end-to-end gatekeeper of the team’s mission and strategy.
Work with trading desks, compliance, clients, and leadership to prioritize the product feature backlog.
Deliver best-in-class execution and user-friendly workflows.
Support advisors, traders, and brokers in their daily work.
Enable the team to innovate and experiment while balancing risk and reward.
