About The Position

The Financial Research and New Product Development (Fin RPD) team at CME Group serves as the technical engine for interest rate offerings, focusing on market structure, macroeconomic shifts, and product engineering. This role involves leading research efforts during a period of significant change in fixed-income markets, scaling global benchmarks like Treasury and SOFR futures and options, and ensuring they remain efficient tools for navigating a volatile policy environment. The position also involves building infrastructure for the future of the marketplace, including the launch of CME Securities Clearing for U.S. Treasuries and Repos, and expanding into credit markets with maturity-bucketed credit futures. As a Director, you will be an expert in interest rate and credit ecosystems, driving strategy for Treasury and SOFR futures and options, and leading the growth of credit futures. You will also act as a data storyteller, transforming complex market activity and options volatility into high-impact publications, visualizations, and video content, bridging product innovation and market activity to guide CME Group through record growth and high-stakes policy action.
