Job Summary and Qualifications This position is responsible for financial management and performance measurement of all HealthTrust Supply Chain CSCs. The role maintains relationships with the VP - Supply Chain, HCA Supply Chain CFOs, HCA Supply Chain CEOs, and HCA hospital division accounting teams. The Director strategically directs financial reporting activities, ensures accuracy and timeliness of financial records, and provides insight for strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • CPA License required.
  • 6-8 years in financial reporting, financial operations, and/or supply chain financial management.
  • Experience with data mining and BI tools (Business Objects, MicroStrategy preferred).
  • Strong financial and operational analysis skills.
  • Proven team leadership and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Project management and understanding of IT environment.

Responsibilities

  • Direct financial reporting activities for supply chain financial personnel.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation, processing, and retention of all financial reports related to HealthTrust Supply Chain operations.
  • Provide financial insight for field supply chain strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee preparation of budgets, strategic plans, and monthly financial/operational reporting for all business units.
  • Prepare detailed monthly budget variance reports for management review.
  • Enhance business intelligence through enterprise tools for reporting and analytics.
  • Monitor and maintain key operational performance measures.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to develop and communicate operational and expense data reports.
  • Interpret and present data for decision-making needs.
  • Recommend areas of improvement and assist in driving results.
  • Provide cost analytics for service center operations and third-party engagement profitability reviews.
  • Review financial justifications for operational business cases.
  • Coordinate ad-hoc financial, operational, and data mining reporting requests.
  • Support financial and compliance audit coordination.
