For our business, for clients, and for you Senior Vice President - Financial Reporting Role Location: Guernsey, Channel Islands Department: Fund Administration Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time The Role & Key Responsibilities: As a Senior Vice President, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a high performing local service line. You will be expected to build and sustain excellent client relationships and help achieve our mission of delivering excellent client service as well as supporting the goals, aims and strategies of the Company and performing the duties of the role diligently and professionally. Operations • Snr Vice President Financial Reporting team in the Guernsey office • Assist the Directors/Senior Team in the management of the Company and participate in the role out of Company strategy • Delegate and oversee the production of management, interim and audited accounts for all entities contracted locally • Delegate and oversee the preparation of capital adequacy calculation of licensed entities, management fees, carry calculations and all other ad hoc accounting tasks as required • Oversee and monitor the setup and operation of the Apex outsourcing model for financial reporting • Facilitate and take responsibility for the planning and delivery of the annual audit process. • Act as escalation point for client issues in conjunction with Client Relationship Management team • Review accounts as and when required • Facilitate and monitor the preparation of all quarterly and annual financial statements produced for Guernsey contracted business to ensure that LPA and regulatory deadlines are met • Develop and maintain bespoke reports for clients' specific requirements • Review time spent against budgets • May act as Director on client boards • Act as a Signatory Development of People • Review, recommend and implement agreed changes to business procedures seeking to confirm best practice across all Groups • Provide training to and develop staff members within team • Act as line manager • Ensure that all staff have individual development plans and hold regular one to one meetings • To specifically provide the necessary coaching to more junior staff to ensure that team deliveries are at the superlative level • To truly foster the spirit of teamwork and client service excellence across the brief
