About The Position

Financial Accounting & Reporting Director Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. The Financial Accounting & Reporting Director is responsible for the technical financial support for National Government Services’ (NGS) current and future growth initiatives. Provides financial leadership, decision support and strategic direction to support the senior management team's growth goals for new and renewal business.

Requirements

• Requires BA/BS in accounting or finance and a minimum of 8 years progressively more responsible experience in a high-level financial analysis position; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
• CPA, CMA, MBA or Master’s degree in accounting is required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting senior management, the ability to project manage autonomously and analyze administrative expenses in an intricate operating structure strongly preferred.
• Experience with government contracting and/or Medicare Administrative Contracts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports managers and directors to ensure project deadlines and deliverables are successfully met.
• Manages NGS finance team’s process improvement for ongoing growth activities.
• Prepares internal management reports and comprehensive analysis of financial and statistical results.
• Coordinates analysis with business partners.
• Conducts and documents complex financial, business and process related analysis that will be used for technical financial support in bids.
