About The Position

Recorded Future is seeking a strategic and operationally rigorous Director, Field Marketing to lead and scale a metrics-driven field marketing organization across the United States. This leader will partner closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, and Demand Generation to create regional and territory-based marketing programs that accelerate pipeline creation, improve opportunity progression, and drive measurable revenue impact. This role requires working from the Recorded Future office in Boston, MA at least 3 days per week.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of B2B marketing experience in the security space, including significant experience in field marketing leadership roles.
  • Proven success supporting enterprise sales organizations with measurable pipeline and revenue impact.
  • Strong experience building metrics-based marketing frameworks and reporting methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise SaaS, cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or technology markets preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment.
  • Experience with ABM strategies, territory planning, and integrated campaign execution.
  • Strong analytical and operational mindset with expertise in marketing performance measurement.
  • Experience managing distributed teams and regional marketing functions.
  • Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, or similar technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a scalable North America field marketing strategy aligned to corporate revenue goals and regional sales priorities.
  • Drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, working closely with sales and the partner/alliances team on shared goals.
  • Own the partner marketing calendar and budget, tracking spend against pipeline and revenue impact.
  • Drive and sustain team success through team development and coaching in alignment with success metrics and company OKRs.
  • Build integrated territory marketing plans that support account penetration, opportunity acceleration, customer expansion, and pipeline generation.
  • Partner directly with Regional Vice Presidents / Directors and Account Directors to align marketing programs to territory plans and whitespace opportunities.
  • Lead and set the operating rhythm for execution of field events, executive engagement programs, webinars, partner marketing initiatives, ABM campaigns, and industry activations.
  • Establish a data-centric operating model with clear KPIs, dashboards, attribution models, and performance benchmarks to measure marketing effectiveness and business impact.
  • Define and operationalize performance metrics related to pipeline generation, revenue influence, account engagement, territory growth, conversion rates, pipeline velocity, and campaign ROI.
  • Create a culture of accountability where investment decisions and program prioritization are driven by measurable business outcomes.
  • Deliver regular business reviews, insights, and recommendations to executive leadership and sales stakeholders.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to Global Sales leadership to drive territory development, pipeline generation, and revenue growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Operations to identify whitespace accounts, underperforming territories, and growth opportunities.
  • Build repeatable frameworks that enable field marketers to proactively support pipeline generation and opportunity progression within assigned regions.
  • Improve marketing and sales alignment through shared planning, forecasting, and pipeline accountability.
  • Partner closely with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, and Marketing Operations teams to deliver coordinated go-to-market programs and ensure consistency in messaging, segmentation, campaign execution, attribution, reporting, and funnel visibility.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing field marketing team across the globe.
  • Hire strategically across field marketing and partner marketing functions.
  • Implement best practices for campaign planning, execution, measurement, and post-program analysis.
  • Drive operational discipline in budgeting, forecasting, vendor management, and program optimization.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
