About The Position

This is an invitation to a senior facilities leader who understands the importance of operational excellence and physical plant mastery in a major resort environment. The ideal candidate will have experience managing budgets, leading teams, and navigating the complexities of a resort where continuous operation is key. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a deep understanding that in a luxury setting, successful facilities management is often invisible. The position involves overseeing the strategic direction and daily operations of the full Facilities department, including construction and operational start-up for a new integrated resort, management of central plant, preventive maintenance, landscaping, outdoor recreational facilities, departmental budgets, capital expenditures, utility management, and leading a team of managers, supervisors, and staff. Compliance with health, safety, and building codes in a highly regulated industry is also a critical aspect of this role. Bally's Chicago is developing a $1.7 billion integrated resort on the Chicago River, aiming to set a new standard for hospitality and entertainment in the Midwest. This role is crucial for ensuring the property is fully operational and ready to deliver on its promise from day one.

Requirements

• At least five years as a senior facilities leader at a major resort hotel and casino
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA
• Ability to read a financial statement as fluently as a work order
• Leadership with accountability
• Development of people with intention
• Focus on results over activity
