About The Position

Fidelity Real Estate is seeking a Director, Facilities & Operations to join our global Facilities & Operations team. In partnership with our outsourced facility management alliance partner, this role will oversee all operational aspects of our Merrimack, New Hampshire campus, comprising approximately 1.12 million square feet, and other locations as assigned. The Director will drive asset value through critical thinking, effective expense management, and infrastructure planning, while focusing on associate needs. This role requires strong interpersonal abilities to collaborate with various internal and external groups. The position reports to the VP, Facilities & Operations and offers a global peer network for support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, facilities management, architecture, engineering or other related area is preferred.
• Graduate degree in a related field is desirable.
• 10+ years of real estate management experience with increasing responsibility is preferred.
• Demonstrated strength in project management, property, asset and facilities management, real estate finance/accounting and leasing, with particular skill in at least one area.
• Ability to work through ambiguity to drive solutions.
• Excellent oral communication and listening skills.
• Customer service-focused with the ability to forge strong relationships.
• Quick-thinking and able to remain calm during stressful or emergent situations.
• Must be able to provide 24x7 on-call coverage.
• Must be 100% on-site.
• Occasional travel required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operational aspects of the Merrimack campus and other assigned locations.
• Drive asset value through critical thinking, effective expense management, and infrastructure planning.
• Focus on associate needs within the facilities and operations.
• Collaborate with various groups inside and outside of Fidelity Real Estate.
• Provide 24x7 on-call coverage.
• Ensure a safe and productive workspace experience for all associates.
• Maintain best-in-class real estate that reflects the Fidelity brand.
