About The Position

Comoto Holdings is seeking a seasoned ERP leader with deep experience in Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE) to own and lead the JDE application portfolio. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic vision to manage fulfillment, financials, integrations, and supporting applications. The Director, ERP will be responsible for setting the JDE strategy and roadmap, leading and developing the JDE team, installing delivery discipline, managing vendor relationships, and driving modernization efforts including cloud migration and AI integration. This is a critical leadership position that requires a proven track record of successfully transforming ERP functions and achieving business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 16+ years of ERP experience.
  • Deep, current hands-on and leadership experience with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (10+ years JDE).
  • 5+ years leading teams at the Manager/Director level, currently operating at Director level or above.
  • Proven track record leading ERP transformations, having personally led two or more end-to-end ERP/JDE transformation or organizational-restructuring initiatives with measurable results.
  • Deep JDE domain expertise across both fulfillment/distribution and financials/AP.
  • End-to-end JDE depth, including Projects, Support, and CNC knowledge.
  • Strong vendor management skills, experienced in managing JDE partners and managed-service engagements, including SOWs and delivery accountability.
  • A metrics-driven operator, owning, managing, and reporting delivery metrics and spend.
  • Fluent in JDE integration tooling (Orchestrator/AIS and related).
  • Active in the AI space around ERP.

  • Retail, powersports, or high-volume distribution, multi-brand experience.
  • JDE 9.2 and cloud migration (OCI) experience.
  • Experience operating in a PCI/SOC 2 environment.
  • Experience with international/multicurrency operations.
  • Experience with enterprise-grade third-party tools that assist in the JDE ecosystem.
  • Master's Degree/MBA.
  • Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne certification.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full JDE application portfolio, including fulfillment (RFSmart, Parcel / shipping, QC Software, warehouse robotics), financials and AP (ScanMan, K-RISE and related), integrations, orchestration, and surrounding supporting applications.
  • Lead and manage the JDE team, including functional/business analysts, developers, and finance analysts.
  • Oversee end-to-end JDE delivery, including projects, enhancements, and support, with a focus on tollgate discipline and clear delivery metrics.
  • Manage the vendor ecosystem, including managed-service and delivery partners for CNC, DBA, project delivery, and monitoring.
  • Foster key partnerships with Systems Operations / IT, Accounting & Finance, and Fulfillment Center leadership.
  • Develop and own the JDE strategy and roadmap in alignment with business priorities and executive leadership.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for JDE strategy, delivery, and support to the business, executive team, and external stakeholders.
  • Lead and develop the JDE team, setting clear expectations, coaching, and building bench strength.
  • Install delivery discipline through a structured process from charter to plan-vs-actual tracking.
  • Manage JDE projects as a business, focusing on ROI, leadership alignment, and governed engagements.
  • Own solutioning across fulfillment and financials/AP, partnering with relevant departments.
  • Establish and maintain governance and compliance for JDE, including configuration, change management, documentation, validation, auditability, and access controls.
  • Mitigate key-person risk by converting dependencies into resilient managed services.
  • Drive the JDE modernization and cloud roadmap, including OCI migration, AI/automation, and integration modernization.
