About The Position

Amplify's People team is looking for a Director, Equity and Compensation. This role plays a critical role in the design, administration, and communication of Amplify’s short- and long-term compensation incentive plans to support the growth of our mission‑oriented organization. Ideal candidates will have experience in compensation benchmarking, preparing materials for the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors, and leading communication plans. This role requires a high degree of analytical skill, close attention to detail, and absolute discretion.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in broad-based compensation, including at least 4 years of direct experience in short- and long-term incentive plan administration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation.
  • Experience in a publicly traded company.
  • Familiarity with equity-administration platforms (e.g., ETRADE, Solium/Shareworks, Carta).
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, complex modeling).

  • You recognize that compensation is deeply personal for employees.
  • You are able to balance technical IQ with the emotional intelligence necessary to communicate complex decisions effectively across the organization.
