About The Position

The Director, Engineering leads and manages technical activities within Lam Research’s Global Products Group, which designs and engineers etch and deposition products for the semiconductor industry. Depending on the function, the role may oversee hardware development, software development, or integrated systems design.

Hardware development may include electronic design, mechanical design, and hardware reliability. Software development may include software systems, applications, and software quality assurance. Systems design involves integrated hardware and software systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 8–10 years of related experience.
• 5 or more years of management experience.

Nice To Haves

• An advanced degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct, lead, and manage technical activities for a hardware development function, which may include electronic design, mechanical design, and/or hardware reliability.
• Direct, lead, and manage technical activities for a software development function, which may include software systems, applications, and/or software quality assurance.
• Direct, lead, and manage technical activities for an integrated hardware/software systems design function.
