We are seeking a Director of Education who will serve as the principal staff partner to the Vice Dean for Education, translating the Vice Dean’s strategic priorities into day-to-day operational and administrative leadership across the School’s academic programs. Reporting to the Vice Dean, the Director manages curriculum administration, new program development, teaching and learning support, accreditation and assessment processes, and faculty governance support. As a seasoned academic affairs leader, the Director also exercises independent judgment on academic policy matters, supervises academic affairs staff, and serves as a key point of contact for faculty and students on academic policies and procedures. The newly announced School of Government and Public Policy, unveiled in October 2023, presents a pivotal opportunity for Johns Hopkins University to strengthen its footprint and engagement in the nation’s capital. This initiative aims to serve society, train the next generation of public servants, drive data-informed government innovation, and confront the complex challenges facing today’s policymakers.
