About The Position

Amgen is building a Direct-to-Patient (DTP) channel to support the U.S. launch of MariTide, operating alongside traditional access pathways. This integrated model combines digital intake, telehealth-enabled care, and end-to-end fulfillment, routing patients to cash-pay or reimbursed options based on their needs. The Director, DTP Channel Strategy and Partnerships will own the strategy and execution for how MariTide reaches patients directly, defining the channel strategy, selecting and managing partners (fulfillment, telehealth, pharmacy), and shaping the patient experience across both cash-pay and reimbursed pathways. This high-ownership role requires comfort with both strategic definition and commercial execution, navigating partners, cross-functional stakeholders, and a regulated environment under a compressed launch timeline. The role also includes leadership of a Sr. Manager, Partner Integration & Patient Experience.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree & 4 years of commercial, digital health, operations, or marketing experience OR Master’s degree & 7 years of commercial, digital health, operations, or marketing experience AND Bachelor's degree & 9 years of commercial, digital health, operations, or marketing experience
  • Experience in digital health, pharma commercialization, telehealth, consumer health, or adjacent industries with direct accountability for building or managing new commercial channels
  • Experience designing and standing up direct-to-consumer or direct-to-patient channel models, including intake flows, telehealth integration, fulfillment, payment workflows, and refills
  • Track record selecting, negotiating, and managing external partners at scale — fulfillment, telehealth, specialty pharmacy, or platform vendors — including SLA governance and performance management
  • Deep understanding of cash-pay economics, pricing transparency, and Gross-to-Net implications in a pharma or health tech context
  • Experience operating in highly regulated environments with direct collaboration across Legal, Regulatory, Government Pricing, and Compliance
  • Experience launching complex, multi-stakeholder commercial models under compressed timelines
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and influencing skills across commercial, operations, legal, and technology stakeholders
  • People leadership experience, with a track record of developing high-performing direct reports
  • Data-driven mindset with demonstrated ownership of conversion, adherence, SLA performance, and patient experience metrics
