About The Position

The Director of Business Systems & Digital Solutions is responsible for the strategic management, integration, optimization, and ongoing development of the company’s operational and digital platforms. This role will lead the administration and enhancement of FieldFX, oversee integrations and APIs with NetSuite, and drive the development and management of the company’s digital infrastructure, including its website and internal mobile/web application ecosystem. The position will also lead technology initiatives associated with Superior Integrity Services’ proprietary digital radiography platform, including the implementation and integration of AI-assisted image review capabilities to improve inspection efficiency, data management, reporting consistency, and operational scalability. This position serves as a critical bridge between operations, accounting, field personnel, training, and executive leadership to ensure technology systems support scalable growth, operational efficiency, compliance, and customer engagement within the oil & gas services industry. This is a highly cross-functional, hands-on leadership role requiring both technical oversight and business process understanding. The position does not currently have direct reports but is expected to lead vendors, developers, consultants, and cross-departmental initiatives.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent pertinent experience
  • 3+ years' experience in related experience

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for FieldFX.
  • Manage FieldFX configurations, workflows, forms, tickets, asset tracking, operational modules, and reporting functionality.
  • Lead all FieldFX upgrades, testing, deployments, and change management initiatives.
  • Coordinate troubleshooting, user support, and ongoing optimization of FieldFX functionality across operational departments.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, workflows, and user procedures.
  • Manage integrations and API connectivity between FieldFX and NetSuite.
  • Coordinate with third-party developers, vendors, and internal stakeholders on integration improvements and issue resolution.
  • Monitor data integrity, synchronization accuracy, workflow automation, and system performance between platforms.
  • Identify opportunities to automate operational and financial processes through APIs and system enhancements.
  • Lead the ongoing development and management of Superior Integrity Services’ proprietary digital radiography platform.
  • Coordinate system architecture, functionality enhancements, workflow optimization, and user experience improvements for radiography operations.
  • Manage initiatives related to AI-assisted review and analysis of digital radiography images.
  • Evaluate, implement, and oversee AI technologies capable of assisting with defect recognition, image quality validation, automated review workflows, reporting support, and data classification and archival.
  • Coordinate with software developers, radiography personnel, and operational leadership to ensure AI functionality aligns with industry standards, customer requirements, and inspection quality expectations.
  • Support long-term development strategies for scalable digital inspection technologies and data analytics capabilities.
  • Lead the development, launch, and ongoing management of the company website.
  • Coordinate website updates, SEO initiatives, branding consistency, service line content, recruiting content, and customer-facing functionality.
  • Manage third-party web developers, hosting providers, and digital vendors as required.
  • Ensure website functionality aligns with company growth initiatives and customer experience expectations.
  • Lead the development and management of the company’s internal application platform.
  • Oversee implementation and ongoing functionality for Learning Management System (LMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), On-the-Job Training (OJT) tracking, procedure and document management, and employee and operational workflow tools.
  • Coordinate software architecture decisions, implementation timelines, and user adoption strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to consolidate systems and improve operational efficiency through technology.
  • Collaborate with operations, finance, safety, training, quality, and executive leadership to align systems with business objectives.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve scalability, reporting, field efficiency, compliance, inspection quality, and profitability.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting related to business systems, software licensing, and technology initiatives.
  • Support cybersecurity, user access controls, data governance, and system compliance initiatives.
  • Participate in strategic planning initiatives related to operational technology and digital transformation.
  • Cooperate with their employer for the purposes of protecting the health and safety of themselves as well as other workers either engaged or at the work site where the work is being carried out.
