About The Position
Zeno Group is seeking a Director, Digital Health & Wellness to lead digital and social strategy for healthcare, consumer health, and biotech clients. This role involves developing digital experiences that educate and engage audiences while navigating the complexities of regulated communications. The ideal candidate will combine healthcare expertise with audience-first thinking and creative problem-solving. Responsibilities include counseling clients, leading integrated programs, mentoring team members, and evolving Zeno's digital health capabilities.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in digital strategy, social strategy, digital communications or related fields, preferably within healthcare, biotech or another regulated industry.
- Experience developing and leading digital and social strategies for healthcare, consumer health, biotech or other regulated brands.
- Strong understanding of healthcare communications and relevant regulatory processes, including MLR review, FDA guidelines and direct-to-patient communications.
- Strong understanding of social media, content and website strategy, with experience connecting digital channels across the audience journey.
- Experience translating audience research, social listening and performance data into clear strategic recommendations.
- Experience managing client relationships and providing strategic digital counsel to client stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating across creative, paid media, analytics, UX, web and integrated account teams.
- Strong writing, storytelling and presentation skills, with experience developing and presenting strategic recommendations.
- Experience leading complex workstreams and managing multiple client priorities.
- Experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
- Collaborative and adaptable leadership style with curiosity about healthcare, audience behaviors and emerging digital technologies.

Responsibilities
- Develop and lead digital and social strategies that connect audience needs with client business and communications objectives while navigating healthcare regulatory requirements.
- Translate healthcare insights, audience behaviors, social listening and digital performance into actionable strategies that inform content, channel and engagement approaches.
- Develop integrated strategies across social, content and web experiences, helping create cohesive user journeys and consistent brand experiences across digital touchpoints.
- Lead social audits, competitive analyses and trend research to identify audience behaviors, emerging opportunities and areas for differentiation.
- Serve as a trusted digital advisor to clients, leading strategic discussions, presenting recommendations and helping teams navigate evolving platforms, technologies and regulatory considerations.
- Partner across creative, paid media, analytics, web, UX and account teams to develop cohesive digital programs and ensure strategies translate effectively across channels.
- Mentor and develop junior strategists while fostering a collaborative environment where people can learn, grow and do their best work.
- Identify opportunities to expand client engagements, contribute to new business and help strengthen Zeno's Digital Health & Wellness capabilities through emerging trends, tools and best practices.
