About The Position

As a Data Scientist at Kyndryl, you will serve as the bridge between business challenges and innovative solutions. You will leverage a powerful combination of methodologies, statistics, mathematics, domain expertise, consulting, and software engineering. Your role will be multifaceted, with each day presenting new puzzles and challenges. You will gain a deep understanding of the business's objectives and requirements, viewing them through a business acumen lens and translating this knowledge into data problems. You will collect and explore data to identify underlying patterns and initial insights that will guide hypothesis creation. Your expertise will extend beyond data to encompass an intimate familiarity with business processes, enabling you to navigate their complexities, identify issues, and craft solutions that drive meaningful change. You will develop and apply standards and policies to protect the organization's data, ensuring it is secure, private, accurate, available, and usable. Your mastery will include data management, migration, strategy, change management, and policy and regulation.

Requirements

• Advanced data analysis and statistical modeling expertise
• Experience in developing and managing forecasting models across: Revenue planning, Utilization optimization, Workforce (WF) supply and demand balancing
• Strong Power BI experience (dashboards, semantic models, KPI reporting)
• Experience with agentic AI or AI-driven workflow automation
• Deep understanding of delivery/professional services KPIs (demand/supply, utilization, NPS, revenue)
• Strong executive communication skills
• Experience building enterprise data governance frameworks

Responsibilities

• Define and execute data science strategy aligned to business objectives and KPIs
• Lead and mentor data scientists and analysts
• Drive workforce transformation and modernization initiatives aligned with business strategy and operating model evolution
• Establish modeling, analytics, and governance best practices
• Design KPI frameworks for WF optimization, utilization, NPS, revenue and other operational metrics
• Build and scale Power BI dashboards and reporting ecosystems
• Deliver agentic AI solutions to automate workflows
• Translate complex analytics into business insights for executives
