About The Position

The data center industry is undergoing a once-in-a-generation build-out driven by AI compute demand. Future Form is the manufacturing backbone behind it — supplying hyperscalers, colocation providers, and leading OEMs with the enclosures, rack systems, liquid cooling distribution, and power infrastructure that make high-density AI data centers possible. We are hiring the first Director of Data Center Infrastructure Sales to own new business development, win large multi-year programs, and build the commercial engine that takes Future Form from strong early traction to $1B+ in revenue. This is a rare chance to join a company at the inflection point — before the story is fully written. We are experiencing rapid growth, with revenue scaling at over 100% year-over-year as demand from hyperscale and AI-driven data center customers accelerates. Future Form is a mission-critical manufacturer of data center infrastructure. We design and produce custom enclosures, rack systems, liquid cooling distribution units, containment systems, and power infrastructure for hyperscalers, colocation providers, and OEMs at scale. We are backed by experienced investors and led by a founding team with a deep background in industrial manufacturing. Our capabilities are purpose-built for the speed and precision that the modern data center build-out demands. We are early. The opportunity is large. Requirements

  • 8–15+ years in sales roles targeting the data center industry
  • Background at Vertiv, Schneider Electric, nVent, Legrand, or a comparable infrastructure company — you know how this ecosystem works
  • Proven track record closing multi-million-dollar, multi-year infrastructure deals
  • Experience building relationships at the Director, VP, and C-suite level with hyperscalers or large colocation operators
  • You build pipeline from scratch — you do not wait for inbound leads or rely on an SDR team
  • You are comfortable with high activity, frequent travel, and a long deal cycle
  • You have closed deals that required sustained relationship development, not just a sharp pitch
  • Strong working knowledge of racks, cooling (including liquid cooling), power infrastructure, and data center design
  • Able to speak credibly with customer engineering teams — not just procurement
  • High energy, competitive, self-directed — you set the pace
  • Strong executive presence and communication; you can hold a room with a VP of Construction and a CFO
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and motivated by building something, not maintaining something

Responsibilities

  • Build and convert pipeline across hyperscalers, colocation providers, and enterprise data center operators
  • Develop relationships with the people who actually make infrastructure decisions — engineering leads, construction directors, and procurement — not just commercial contacts
  • Travel to where decisions are made; represent Future Form at key industry events and customer sites
  • Own and grow strategic customer accounts, expanding initial wins into long-term, multi-program relationships
  • Lead deals involving mission-critical infrastructure systems where technical depth and consultative selling win
  • Translate customer needs into manufacturable solutions — working closely with Future Form's engineering and operations teams
  • Manage deals from first conversation through production ramp, owning the relationship throughout
  • Engage with customers early in the design and procurement cycle to position Future Form as a core infrastructure partner
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing sales team as revenue scales
  • Build the processes, tools, and playbooks that make Future Form's sales motion repeatable
  • Report directly to the founding team and contribute to commercial strategy
