About The Position

Director, Data Analysis positions offered by Capital One, National Association (McLean, Virginia). Responsible for driving the data management agenda for Capital One’s largest business division. Develop and execute on data management strategy. Define and monitor KRI’s and escalate areas of non-compliance as appropriate. Oversee the design and execution of data controls. Oversee data quality monitoring and data issue management practices. Monitor the health of data catalog metadata. Manage team of high performing data professionals.

Requirements

• Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field and 8 years of experience in performing data analytics.
• In lieu of a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 8 years of experience as stated, employer will accept a master's or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 6 years of experience as stated.
• Requires 6 years of experience leading and developing with open-source data technologies.
• Also requires 4 years of experience managing people.
• Position reports to McLean, VA office.
• Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office.
• Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
• Eligible for employee referral program.
