The Director, CX Data Enablement & Platforms Technical Suite Lead will lead a team responsible for core enterprise data platforms, customer data, content governance, and compliant review workflows. The role emphasizes people leadership, collaboration, inclusion, and empowering team members to reach their full potential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience after Bachelor's degree (or 8+ years of experience after Master's degree) in data engineering, technical architecture, or enterprise platform delivery management.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Tech Lead, Technical Program Manager, Engineering Manager, or other roles involving managing a team of developers.
  • 6-8 years of experience leading people, including managing and developing high-performing teams and driving accountability across functions.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale digital platforms such as enterprise data platforms supporting master data, reference data, and analytics‑ready datasets.
  • Experience guiding technical architecture within complex, matrixed, global organizations.
  • Experience using Agile and Product Operating Model principles to drive alignment, autonomy, and outcome-focused delivery.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams and technical leaders.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise data and platform architecture, cloud‑based data services, and modern engineering frameworks.
  • Proven experience designing and configuring secure, reliable, and compliant data platforms at enterprise scale within pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
  • Strong knowledge of data integration patterns, APIs, and data product architectures.
  • Experience designing and evolving enterprise data enablement solutions, including shared data services, data mastering, and analytics‑ready data products.
  • Experience evolving MDM platforms as enterprise products.
  • Strong understanding of identity resolution strategies and experience embedding consent and preference management.
  • Ability to lead data stewardship operations end‑to‑end.
  • Experience working within Agile product development teams and product operating models.
  • Solid understanding of security, privacy, and regulatory requirements as they relate to enterprise data management.
  • Demonstrated technical program leadership across multi‑team, multi‑vendor data initiatives.
  • Ability to design and oversee compliant technical operations for data platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Set and drive the technical direction for the Data Enablement & Platforms team within Customer Experience Operations, ensuring platform scalability, reliability, and compliant workflows.
  • Collaborate with the CX Lead to create value-focused roadmaps for technical capabilities.
  • Own budget and resource allocation, making investment decisions to maximize impact and long-term value.
  • Translate product roadmaps into scalable technology architectures and development plans, assessing feasibility, constraints, dependencies, and risks.
  • Ensure technical and product decisions support regulated content governance, aligning with security policies, data controls, and medical, legal, and regulatory processes.
  • Lead and develop Technical Leads, reinforcing clear decision rights, accountability, and performance expectations for centralized data mastering, data stewardship, and standardized data products.
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning, capability development, and operating model evolution.
  • Manage vendor partners, ensuring clear accountability, quality delivery, and alignment to objectives.
  • Act as the primary technical point of accountability for data master domains, partnering with enterprise capability leads, architects, security, and data teams.
  • Work closely with tech leads, capability owners, development teams, and adjacent platform teams to coordinate roadmap dependencies, integrations, and architectural decisions.
  • Represent the technical architecture, platforms, and delivery considerations of the Data Enablement & Platform team in various forums.
  • Lead resolution of cross-team issues affecting Data Enablement & Platform performance or adoption.
  • Collaborate with CX Data Tech Leads and Enterprise Data & AI Global Capability Owners to align on shared data infrastructure, integration standards, and AI/ML enablement.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, including resource planning, performance management, and talent development.
