About The Position

Druva is seeking a Creative Director to lead the creative direction and evolution of the Druva brand across all marketing materials and touchpoints. This role involves shaping the brand's visual identity, tone, and expression, ensuring consistency and ambition in digital, physical, video, and experiential formats. The Director will mentor and grow the in-house creative team, manage designers, video, and web creative talent, and foster a culture of craft and collaboration. A key aspect of the role is translating complex technical concepts into compelling visual storytelling, particularly in the context of AI, data security, and cyber resilience. The position requires setting an AI-forward creative operating model, evaluating and adopting AI tools responsibly, and establishing standards for their use. The Director will lead brand-defining creative moments, including product launches, campaigns, and events, and serve as a creative partner to executives for keynotes and thought leadership. Responsibilities also include setting the creative direction for druva.com and digital experiences, owning video and motion creative, defining the vision for global events, and partnering with various marketing teams to ensure a cohesive visual and editorial identity. The role involves establishing clear creative operating models, managing resourcing, agency relationships, and budgets, and maintaining/evolving brand guidelines and the design system. Finally, the Director will track and communicate the impact of creative efforts on brand awareness, engagement, and campaign performance.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in brand, creative, or design leadership, with proven experience building, leading, and mentoring a multidisciplinary creative team.
  • A portfolio demonstrating exceptional creative direction across brand, digital, and video, showing both strategic thinking and execution excellence.
  • Demonstrated fluency with AI in the creative process: a real point of view on which tools earn their place, how to use them responsibly, and how to protect originality and craft while moving significantly faster.
  • Web design that pops off the page, with sites and campaign pages with real visual ambition.
  • A strong track record translating complex technical concepts into clear, compelling visual storytelling.
  • Deep expertise across brand, campaign, video, and motion creative, with the ability to create cohesive experiences across every touchpoint.
  • Exceptional organizational instincts, including experience building creative operating models, intake and review processes, and quality standards.
  • A sharp editorial eye and uncompromising standards for craft, consistency, and creative quality.
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing across marketing, product, and leadership.
  • Seniority sufficient to have run a creative studio before, paired with a genuine willingness to stay hands-on and execute the work directly.
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments where the brand is being built and pushed forward.
  • A real passion for AI and technology, and the curiosity to keep learning as the category moves.

Nice To Haves

  • Stay hands-on, running the studio and executing creative work directly.
  • Translate deeply technical concepts into creative that connects, turning agentic AI, data security, cyber resilience, and platform architecture into visual storytelling.
  • Set the AI-forward creative operating model, evaluating, adopting, and responsibly governing AI tools across concepting, production, and iteration.
  • Lead brand-defining creative moments, including product launches, category campaigns, flagship events, and analyst and customer storytelling, from concept through execution.
  • Serve as creative partner to executives, shaping keynote visuals, executive storytelling, and thought leadership.
  • Set the creative direction for druva.com and our digital experience, designing web that is bold, expressive, and premium.
  • Own video and motion creative, from product explainers and customer stories to brand films and social content.
  • Define the creative vision for Druva's presence at global events and tradeshows.
  • Partner closely with Product Marketing, Corporate Comms, PR, AR, Social, and Demand Gen to ensure a cohesive visual and editorial identity.
  • Establish and run a clear creative operating model covering briefing, intake, review cycles, and quality standards, using Asana.
  • Manage creative resourcing, agency relationships, and production budgets.
  • Maintain and evolve the Druva brand guidelines and design system.
  • Track and communicate the impact of creative on brand awareness, engagement, and campaign performance.
