About The Position

Celestica is seeking a Director of Corporate Strategy for its Connectivity and Cloud Solutions (CCS) business. CCS is a primary technology enabler of the AI data center infrastructure supercycle, with the posting citing revenue exceeding $9 billion in 2025 and 85% year-over-year growth as of Q2 2026. The Corporate Strategy team works with the Executive Leadership Team and other senior leaders to shape Celestica’s strategic direction and deliver profitable growth. Its remit includes managing strategic planning, assessing market opportunities and the company’s ecosystem, defining and driving growth strategies and investments, and supporting inorganic M&A and investment strategy. Reporting to the Senior Director of Corporate Strategy, CCS, the Director will help shape long-term growth strategy and lead high-priority initiatives from strategic framing through decision-making and execution. This hands-on strategy and leadership role owns substantive analysis and recommendations, leads project teams, works across the business, and develops strategy talent.

Requirements

  • 12–15+ years of total professional experience, including at least 10 years across top-tier management consulting, corporate strategy groups, or closely related roles with substantial strategy responsibility.
  • Track record of independently leading complex strategy engagements, managing multiple workstreams, and exercising sound judgment in a large technology business or similarly complex client environment.
  • Evidence that work led to adopted and implemented decisions, such as market entry, investment priority, portfolio change, partnership, or operating-model decisions, with ability to explain personal contribution and business outcomes.
  • Relevant technology-sector experience and strong fluency in AI and cloud infrastructure economics, including ability to connect compute, networking, storage, and hardware systems trends to customer value, competitive advantage, and strategic recommendations.
  • Strong problem-solving, market research, and financial modeling skills, including assessing market attractiveness, business cases, unit economics, and investment trade-offs under uncertainty.
  • Executive presence and excellent written communication; ability to turn complex technical, market, and financial findings into concise recommendations; and experience presenting to senior executives and developing executive or Board-level materials.
  • Ability to offer an independent perspective, respectfully question prevailing assumptions, update positions when evidence changes, influence senior leaders, and mobilize teams without relying on reporting authority.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop others while remaining hands-on with analysis, problem solving, and delivery; effectiveness across levels, functions, and a global organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, engineering, computer science, or an equivalent analytical or technical discipline.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree.
  • Exposure to hyperscaler and AI infrastructure ecosystems, customer co-design and hardware platform engineering businesses, or advanced manufacturing; beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Help develop and refresh the CCS growth strategy, identifying priority markets, customer segments, and capabilities; translate conclusions into portfolio choices, investment priorities, and multiyear plans; and advise senior leaders.
  • Evaluate new markets, adjacencies, and business models through customer research, competitive analysis, financial modeling, and explicit recommendations.
  • Assess developments in AI infrastructure, compute, networking, storage, and rack-scale systems, and work with engineering and business leaders to determine implications for customer needs, technology roadmaps, and value position.
  • Partner with Corporate Development and Investments on acquisition, partnership, and investment opportunities; provide strategic rationale, market assessments, and build-versus-buy-versus-partner analysis; and support diligence and integration.
  • Drive and support high-priority initiatives with business stakeholders by leading strategic analysis, securing decisions, establishing accountable owners and milestones, and supporting implementation; connect strategic priorities to annual planning and measurable results.
  • Develop clear recommendations and materials for leadership, executive reviews, and Board-level strategy discussions.
  • Lead and coach strategy colleagues and cross-functional project teams; set standards for strategic framing and analytical rigor; and strengthen the team's market intelligence, strategy methods, and internal use of AI.
