Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, MBA, PhD, or MD and 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in strategy, management consulting, corporate development, business operations, finance, or related fields.
  • Working knowledge of Gilead's portfolio, business model, and strategic priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct strategic analyses and synthesize insights of market dynamics, competitive developments, business performance, and industry trends to inform enterprise priorities and decisions.
  • Develop strategic frameworks, recommendations, and executive-ready perspectives on key business issues.
  • Support corporate strategy development, planning processes, strategic assessments, and scenario planning.
  • Lead strategic workstreams and projects supporting enterprise priorities, exercising judgment to determine scope, approach, and prioritization.
  • Develop execution plans, governance approaches, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities that may impact strategic outcomes.
  • Drive delivery my managing risks, resolving issues, and maintaining momentum toward objectives and business outcomes.
  • Partner and foster collaboration across functions to advance enterprise initiatives and strategic priorities.
  • Build alignment through structured problem solving, clear communication, and integration of diverse perspectives.
  • Promote enterprise-first thinking and high-quality decision-making.
  • Prepare executive-ready analyses, presentations, and recommendations.
  • Support leadership discussions, strategic workshops, and offsites.
  • Present findings and communicate complex topics clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Contribute to a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Support onboarding and development of team members and rotational talent.
  • Serve as a role model for enterprise thinking and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Participate in initiatives that strengthen leadership development across the organization.
