About The Position

As Director, Corporate Development you will build and lead the function that turns acquisitions into realized value. You'll own the full diligence and post-merger integration lifecycle, establish our Integration Management Office, and drive the strategic programs that compound value across our growing portfolio. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for an operator who thrives at the intersection of strategy, transformation, and execution – and who wants their work to shape the future of flight. Reporting directly to the VP, Head of Corporate Development, you will sit at the center of Jeppesen ForeFlight's most consequential strategic decisions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in enterprise software, SaaS, or technology
  • 8+ years with a strong track record of leading acquisition integrations end-to-end across all deal sizes
  • Experience in aviation software or a related complex enterprise or vertical software environment is a strong advantage
  • Demonstrated success establishing and running Integration Management Offices and leading large global cross-functional teams through full integration lifecycles – from pre-close through synergy realization
  • Proven ability to develop governance models, KPIs, and dashboards that drive accountability and visibility at the executive level
  • Structured, first-principles thinker with strong project discipline and operational instincts
  • Strong commercial acumen and program management skills – able to connect program execution directly to strategic and financial outcomes
  • Executive-level communication and influencing skills; knows when and how to bring the right people in at the right time
  • Collaborative by default, decisive under pressure, and energized by complexity

Responsibilities

  • Establish and run the Integration Management Office (IMO), creating the governance, playbooks, and operating cadence for all acquisition integrations
  • Develop and continuously improve integration frameworks covering diligence readiness, pre-close planning, Day 1 execution, synergy realization, and long-term operational steady state
  • Lead cross-functional integration teams spanning R&D, GTM, Finance, HR, IT, Legal, and Compliance and drive integrations to a successful conclusion
  • Lead operational due diligence on acquisitions – managing data rooms, diligence workstreams, and coordination with targets and external advisors
  • Translate diligence findings into integration theses and value-capture plans anchored to deal rationale
  • Drive transparent reporting to executives and the Board on diligence status, integration progress, risk, and synergy realization
  • Lead and execute post-merger integration plans ensuring smooth transitions across people, processes, systems, and technology
  • Partner with Product, GTM and Finance to define, track, and report synergies against deal targets
  • Lead post-integration reviews to capture learnings and sharpen future playbooks
  • Lead other strategic enterprise-wide initiatives – product harmonization, GTM alignment, systems migrations, shared services optimization – that extend value from completed integrations
  • Identify and execute cross-portfolio programs that enhance scalability, efficiency, and readiness for future acquisitions
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and execution partner to senior business leaders on transformation priorities
  • Champion cultural integration in partnership with HR and senior leadership, ensuring acquired teams feel connected to Jeppesen ForeFlight's mission from Day 1
  • Navigate complexity, ambiguity, and competing priorities with clarity and composure
