We are seeking a Director of Corporate Development to help shape and execute the enterprise’s growth strategy through acquisitions, partnerships, alliances, and other strategic opportunities. This leader will focus on identifying, evaluating, structuring, and negotiating strategic acquisitions, partnerships, joint ventures, and alliance opportunities that support long-term growth and strengthen competitive advantage. This is a highly visible role that partners closely with senior leaders, business units, Ventures, Scouting, B2B2C leaders, and external ecosystem partners. The Director will play a central role in translating enterprise strategy into actionable external opportunities and will help guide opportunities from market scan through diligence, valuation, deal structuring, negotiation, and executive recommendation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in corporate development, M&A, strategic partnerships, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, strategy consulting, transaction advisory, or enterprise strategy.
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration), relevant graduate degree (MBA) highly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience evaluating, structuring, or supporting acquisitions, partnerships, alliances, joint ventures, or other strategic growth opportunities.
  • Prior experience with financial modeling, valuation, diligence, business case development, and deal negotiation strongly preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of corporate finance and financial business law concepts
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and preparing recommendations for senior executives.
  • Superior oral communication, written presentation skills, including executive-level presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Contributes to business growth by identifying, prioritizing, and evaluating potential business opportunities and/or M&A activities that will sustain growth and competitive advantage in the marketplace
  • Partners with key stakeholders to enhance internal and external review and consideration of potential opportunities
  • Works collaboratively across Enterprise and supports business units in assessing the strategic, financial, and operational fit of potential partners
  • Completes comprehensive market and sector scan research to drive decision-making and action
  • Lead diligence processes for acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic alliances, coordinating cross-functional teams across finance, legal, technology, operations, risk and business units
  • Creates and oversees the creation of financial models and valuation scenarios
  • Build and manage relationships with the external ecosystem including key industry players, potential partners/targets and investment bankers

Benefits

  • Compensation is based on a standard 38:45-hour work week
  • Potential starting salary range: $173,000 - $228,500
  • Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
