The University of New Hampshire seeks an innovative and collaborative leader to serve as the institutional expert on research core facility development, management and operations. This role will provide strategic guidance to university leadership on building and sustaining a robust core facility infrastructure that will advance the mission and reputation of the university. The Director will manage the University Instrumentation Center (UIC), a university-wide core facility providing access to state-of-the-art instrumentation for analytical and educational purposes. The UIC supports faculty, graduate and undergraduate students, and researchers from other institutions and companies. Additionally, the Director will develop a coordinated network of core research facilities across the university to enhance UNH’s institutional priorities. Currently, approximately 20+ core research facilities operate independently. The Director will chair a committee to assess the current landscape and lead the implementation of a more coordinated and efficient network.
