About The Position

The Director, Compensation is responsible for the strategic oversight, administration, and governance of the Company's equity compensation programs. Reporting to the VP, Compensation, this role partners closely with Legal, Payroll, Finance, and external service providers to oversee all aspects of equity compensation strategy, operations, and compliance. In addition, this position will contribute to broader Compensation Team initiatives and projects, partnering across a wide range of compensation programs, processes, and strategic priorities throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive compensation experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of equity compensation programs, including restricted stock units, stock options, performance-based awards, and related administration practices.
  • Experience administering equity compensation programs through Fidelity Stock Plan Services or similar equity administration platforms preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including experience performing large-scale data analysis, building financial models, and developing executive-level reports.
  • Strategic, results-oriented thinker with strong attention to detail and the ability to balance long-term program design with operational execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex compensation concepts into clear, actionable guidance.
  • Executive presence, sound judgment, and the ability to effectively influence, collaborate with, and present to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Solid project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and integrity in handling highly sensitive and confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the administration of the Company's equity compensation programs, including grant issuance, vesting events, award modifications, and ongoing plan operations.
  • Partner with Payroll, Tax, and Finance to ensure accurate processing and reporting of equity transactions.
  • Coordinate and manage equity grant cycles, including annual grants, ad hoc awards, and equity-related corporate actions.
  • Build trusted relationships with HR leaders and other key stakeholders, serving as the Company's subject matter expert and primary point of contact for all equity compensation matters.
  • Provide guidance and resolve complex participant issues while ensuring a high level of customer service and responsiveness.
  • Manage relationships with plan administrators and other external service providers, including oversight of service delivery, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable securities laws, tax regulations, accounting requirements, insider trading policies, and equity plan provisions.
  • Maintain plan documentation, administrative procedures, governance controls, and operational processes to support effective plan administration and risk management.
  • Assist in the preparation of materials and analyses supporting equity-related reviews and approvals by senior leadership and compensation governance bodies.
  • Support executive-level communications, presentations, and materials related to equity compensation programs.
  • Partner with Finance and Accounting teams on stock compensation expense, share usage forecasting, dilution analysis, financial disclosures, and related reporting activities.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives involving equity compensation programs, including systems implementations, program enhancements, regulatory changes, and corporate transactions.
  • Assist with compensation analyses, market benchmarking, and competitive assessments to support compensation strategy and decision-making.
  • Support the design, administration, and evaluation of compensation programs, policies, and processes across the organization.
